The word "genesis" is defined as an act of creation, of building something from nothing. While it is commonly used with a religious undertone, the word itself originates from the greek term for "birth" or "origin".
Creation is something that humans excel at. We make tools, improve upon them and even personalize them. And some of us are born with strong innate creativity, allowing them to create things far beyond typical imaginations.
Creation however, are almost always held back by reality. An aspiring designer might give up his or her dreams of living a life devoted to art when facing financial troubles. So many of them are unable to work on their passions just because their line of work do not earn them enough to survive.
This is where Genesis Culture comes in. In an attempt to protect this innate ability to imagine and create, Genesis Culture strives to create a strong platform for independent designers to get in touch with the mass market without having to suffer all the risks and hassles in getting there.
By doing so, Genesis Culture hopes to create a powerful community of designers who can freely express their visions and design philosophies to the world without having to be a millionaire as a prerequisite.
